Lough & Lather started with a simple realisation.

As Jon approached his 50th birthday, he began to notice something shifting. More men were taking care of themselves. Paying attention to what they were using. Choosing quality over convenience. Wanting products that felt considered, not cosmetic.

But the options were either overly complicated or full of harsh ingredients that did not sit well with real skin. There was a gap in the market for a solid, well-made range that felt masculine without being performative. Something rooted in tradition, built for everyday life.

So we decided to make it ourselves.

With years of experience behind Bathe Botanicals, we already had the knowledge, the studio and the standards. We understand oils, butters, formulations and skin. We believe in making products from scratch, in-house, using ingredients chosen for a reason. Not trends. Not marketing claims. Just purpose.

Lough & Lather was created to offer men a grooming range that is steady, reliable and properly made. Beard oils that condition without grease. Body wash that cleans without stripping. Deodorants that work with your skin, not against it. Shampoo bars are made the slow way, because the slow way still works.

Everything is handmade in small batches in our loughshore studio, with the same care and attention that built our original brand.

This is not about vanity.
